Host Rules & Security Suggestions

Hosts are responsible for ensuring a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for all guests.

    Provide accurate, up-to-date information about the property, facilities, parking, garage access, and any vehicle-related amenities.

    Ensure the property meets basic safety standards including functioning smoke alarms, secure locks, clear emergency exits, and safe parking arrangements.

    Clearly communicate any house rules, vehicle usage rules, and security requirements before the booking is confirmed.

    Maintain a clean and well-presented space between guest stays.

    Offer secure parking for guests’ vehicles when advertised — e.g., locked garage, gated parking, CCTV, or monitored access (as applicable).

    Immediately report any suspicious activity, safety concerns, or rule violations through the host dashboard or to Carguys BNB support.

    Avoid discrimination of any kind and treat all guests fairly and respectfully.

    Ensure that any tools, equipment, or car-care facilities (if provided) are safe and used at the host’s discretion.

Cancellation Policies

Carguys BNB follows a clear and fair cancellation structure. Hosts may choose one of the following options for their listing. Guests must acknowledge the policy before confirming the booking:

Flexible:

    Full refund for cancellations up to 48 hours before check-in.
  • Z
    50% refund for cancellations within 48 hours of check-in.

Moderate:

  • Z
    Full refund for cancellations up to 7 days before check-in.
  • Z
    50% refund for cancellations 3–6 days before check-in.
  • Z
    No refund for cancellations within 48 hours of check-in.

Strict:

  • Z
    Full refund for cancellations within 24 hours of booking (if booked at least 14 days before check-in).
  • Z
    50% refund for cancellations 7–14 days before check-in.
  • Z
    No refund within 7 days of check-in.

Hosts are required to choose a single cancellation policy, which will be displayed clearly on their listing. Guests are responsible for reviewing this before booking.

 
Insurance

To ensure the safety of both guests and hosts:

    Carguys BNB does not provide personal vehicle insurance. Guests must ensure their vehicle is fully insured for travel, parking, and any optional activities.
  • Z
    Hosts are required to have their property covered under a valid home/contents or rental property insurance policy.
  • Z
    Any damage caused by guests must be documented and may be claimed through the host’s insurance or recovered directly from the guest.

    Guests acknowledge that any vehicle-related activity (cleaning, tuning, parking, or maintenance) is done at their own risk.
  • Z
    Neither Carguys BNB nor the host is responsible for loss, theft, or damage to guest vehicles unless specifically stated in the listing.
  • Z
    Guests must confirm, at the time of booking, that their personal travel insurance includes coverage for vehicle-related travel and property stays.
  • Z
    Before proceeding, both parties must tick an “Insurance Acknowledged” checkbox indicating they understand and accept these terms.
